Dominion Energy Cove Point

Lounsbury Associates Companies performed the front-end engineering design (FEED) and is also serving as Owner’s Engineer for the Dominion Energy Cove Point engineering and construction project. The LNG export project is being built within the existing regasification facility. The new liquefaction facilities’ design received environmental assessment approval by the FERC in September 2014The new design will capitalize on the current facilities with limited environmental impact on the surrounding 800 acres of protected woodlands and wetlands.
