Lounsbury Associates Companies performed the Front-end Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, procurement, construction support, startup and commissioning for McMoRan’s greenfield central process and satellite facilities. Our staff provided the structural design of various project elements, including jackets, decks, flare booms and heliports. The scope of work also included process modeling, equipment sizing and design, electrical engineering, instrument design, high temperatures and pressures, high CO2 and H2S concentrations and associated amine treating. Lounsbury Associates Companies also collaborated with the well design team on process and interface issues.

Lounsbury Associates Companies provided services for the 4-pile and 8-pile jackets and decks of the facilities, including construction management, paint inspection I&E inspection, onsite cost tracking and material tracking, as well as HSE oversight. Additionally, the project team oversaw the 12″ pipeline installation and performed vendor surveillance in the fabrication shops where we handled the skid packages, vessels and ICP for the deck installation and reviewed all onshore and offshore welding procedures.
